The Laying Software Bot

For Busy or Lazy Punters.

New IMPROVED Software.

More control, higher STRIKE RATE.. LESS bets.

The graph below is 29 days in March 2018

Using a $1.00 Target

This is the setting we are using for the above results.

We are using only 1 Tab on this.

26th August 2017, we have improved several things on the Lay Horse Bot.

These are:

New Features:

Version 1.21

26th August, 2017

1. Now top 8 Favs (up from 5)

2. You can put the odds in for the Fav to be met before the bot will action your bet.

3. Now Liability Limit can be set, so the bot will not bet over the liability limit you set.

4. The individual tabs now display the recovery stakes, so you can see what is happening.

The two standout additions are:

The 1st Fav option that allows you to exclude a race if the Favourite does not met the price criteria. This is very effective you make sure the race has a strong favourite that has a huge chance of winning.

You often see races with 3 favoured horses at say 6/1 (7.00) joint favourite. This means that the race is more of a raffle, and there is no strong opinion who will win. At 7.00 there is a 14% probabilities it will win, so we have 3 horses at 14% so the likely hood is 42% that one of the three horses will be the winner. And if the fourth horse is at 8/1 (9.00) that means it has a 11% chance.

So combine first 4 horses you have 53% probability of the winner, you dont want to lay the 4th favourite or the 5th in that case. So you can see having a filter that stops these races is very valuable.

Yes you will bet less but win more.

2nd is the inclusion of the Liability Stop Loss.

You can now determine how much you are prepared to lose bet for the recovery resets.

This now means you can set say 12 in the liability setting and if the current bet is going to be higher than that it will not place the bet and it will restart.

Australia & New Zealand Results.

31-12-2017 we have switched to 5 staking tabs.

Fifth Fav (1)

This Strategy uses 10 tabs:

FOR Australia & New Zealand

We are using the newly introduced 1st Fav filter.

Why have a 1st Fav filter?

We see races where the fav is 6/1, 7/1 even 8/1 so the race has no strong chances and is more a raffle.

So with a filter we are making sure that there is a stand out bet, to be running again our lays.

We are also using the Liability stop loss, this ensures that we know what or loss will be before the restart is activated.

Fifth Fav (2)

This Strategy uses 10 tabs:

This strategy we use the odds of 10 to 15.00

And the first fav filter is 1.00 to 5.00

Also a lower Min. match 3000 AUD

FOR Australia and New Zealand

We are using the newly introduced 1st Fav filter.

Why have a 1st Fav filter?

We see races where the fav is 6/1, 7/1 even 8/1 so the race has no strong chances and is more a raffle.

So with a filter we are making sure that there is a stand out bet, to be running again our lays.

We are also using the Liability stop loss, this ensures that we know what or loss will be before the restart is activated.

Get A Life Back!!

What's more, this virtual assistant does the work, so you can play, work, goof off do other things.

Your betting partner, is now here.

This does the imortant things.

1. Selects the horses

2. Stakes the Bets

3. Makes the bets.

4. Records the results.

5. Then repeats it until you turn it off.

Hard To Do?

Absolutely NOT!

You set the setting (once only).

And then Start the software, that is it.

Then you have to chose, do you want to bet 24/7?

If yes then make sure the computer is not in sleep mode.

That is all there is.

OH... yes you need a Betfair Account with some money in it.

And a Windows Based computer or VPS.

The software interface.

Below is an insight into what the software does, but keep in mind, once you have set it up, you don't need to do anything else.. Or run it 24/7 on a VPS.

The settings Tabs.

This is the where you set the bot it's instructions that it will bet to.

It is important that you give it the correct instructions, so it can do the the betting and staking correctly.

You will see that there are 3 Lay tabs, they can be issued different instructions, so you can run 3 different strategies if you wish.

So the first options you see are which country or countries you want the Lay tab to bet on, on the example on the left you can see we are betting Aus= Australia, GBR= UK and IRE= Ireland.

Next: Market to Bet this one is the place market

Next Selection, you get to choose from the 1st eight favourites, we have choosen 5tht Fav.

Min Price is the lowest price we will lay the horse at, in this case 8.00 and Max Price we will lay in this case is 12.50

If you are betting any fav except the 1st fav, then you can add a filter that the 1st Fav must be, before it can consider the race..

Time To Bet, you can choose Pre Play (before the off), or In Play. In our case we are betting 15 seconds before the start of the race.

Min Amount Matched: Liquidly is what it is asking, we are saying here must be over 50000 in the pool.

Runners: How many between, in this case 8 to 25

The next options are to do staking, this is how the software will stake the selections and manage the betting amounts.

Stop@profit per Race: this is the Target amount we want to win, everytime we get a winning bet. In the example we have .10pence. The tick box means it will continue betting.

Stop@profit each Tab: This relates to the tabs at the top of the software that manages the staking, so in the example we are saying after 5 (pounds or whatever currency your betfair account is in) the staking will restart after 5 profit is make, and the tick means to continue.

Stop@profit all tabs: Once again, if all tabs profit equals 5 then staking restarts. Leave ticked.

Stop Loss Options

There are two options, you only use one (active).

The two are:

Stop Loss@ Liability each tab

Stop Loss @ Staking each tab.

Stop@Loss each Tab: This is the important tab, as it controls the losses, as we are laying, you need to be mindful of the amount you put in here. If you are laying high price horses the Stop amount needs to be low.

Continue with Restart: Means if a tab goes over the stop loss, it will restart the staking process for that tab.

Continue without Restart: Don't tick this one, as it can lose you alot of money if not careful. NEVER USE IT my advice.

Distribute Losses Among all enabled tabs: If you chose this one (recommended) it will split a losing bet into all the tabs that enabled. (more on tabs below).

Next we are looking at races and types of racing.

Allow Non-Handicap (these options only work on Win option, not place markets as betfair does not define handicap or non handicap in the place markets.) So if ticked the Non handicap races will be highlighted. And the bot will consider these races.

Allow Handicap, once again only win market this will work. Tick this to enable the software to bet these races.

Allow Harness (only in NZ and Australian racing),

Allow Harness Only, if you tick this one and Allow Harness, the software will only bet on Harness racing.

Mexican Wave: This is very important that it is ticked. This instruction makes sure that the betting is alocated to each enabled tab, and then starts again. If unticked it will bet only Tab 1 unless it is occupied, and it is not the best option.

Profit Delta: This is where we can enter an amount that we want to make when a bet loses in recovery, the software will look to recover the losing stake, the profit delta is extra amount over and above, it should not be higher that the Stop@profit per Race amount.

Remember this only has to be set once.

The Tabs (where the bets controlled).

At the top of the software you will see numbers 1 to 20, these are individual tabs that the staking is controlled for the bets.

All you need to do is entable how many tabs you want to have in use. The more tabs, the lower the stake recovery and the longer recovery will take.

Just make sure you tick the enabled box, by default the first 10 are ticked.

All three Lay Tabs, will use these Enabled tabs, but they keep each separate in staking, you get the three in a summary on the Tab. See below.

So you can see how each strategy (Lay Tab) is going in the above Lay1 is .48 profit, Lay 2 is loss .22 and Lay 3 is in profit .02 for this Staking Enabled Tab.

On the lefthand side that is the Races and a few other options.

Auto Reload: This must be ticked as it loads the races up, and refreshes races.

If you want to manual reload races, the three reload buttons will do it for each lay tab.

Show Market: best left unticked as it uses data from Betfair and if you use it all the time you run the rish of data charges, and there is no need to have the markets showing as the bot bets with this option ticked.

Lay 1 M= Races that the bot will consider.

Lay 1 V is the countries that the bot will be betting on.

Green button gives you access to the online manual for the software.

Grey Button is Betfair help pages.

Current Bets are where the unsettled bets will be displayed.

Cancelled bets shows bets the bot has cancelled.

Results Lays is the summary of all the bets see below.

This is the results page and from that, you can see how the bot in general is tracking.

The Grey export button will export all the results into an excel csv file, if you have excel then you can save the results.

For a video overview of the software you can see the Under The Hood video below.

What is under the hood?

Staking and Bank Management.

Without a doubt, these are the most important things to keep you in the game, and most punters don't do or use them.

We are not going to bash on about it, but only to say, for the good of your money, nerves and peace of mind, please stick to a bank management that is realistic.

Bank Management

OK, on bank requirements, if you are going to use the 3 Lay tabs (3 strategies), then if you are going to aim for a £1.00 target per winning bet. Then £1,000 bank is great and will give you peaceful punting.

You may say, £1,000 to win £1.00 targets, that it is pretty conservative, and yes it is. But remember in some races you may have three bets, and that could be a liability of £25.00, and if you have some losses being recovered, then it could be a lot higher.

So please try and stick to the 1000-1 ratio. (I know many won't that is just the way punters are.)

Staking.

This software is using the loss recovery spread over staking tabs, and is conservative, or aggressive, it depends on how many tabs (staking) you wish to use.

Let's look at using 5 Tabs (these are the tabs at the top of the software.)

For this example, we lay a horse at 11.00, and we have a target (Stop@ Profit per Race) of £1.00. We will forget about the commission to keep it simple (the software uses commission so dont worry).

Horse wins the race so we lose the bet (boo hoo).

So we have a loss of £10.00 (11.00 less our stake). Now, £10.00 is split over the 5 tabs, so now their totals are £2.00 + £1.00 (original profit target +£1.00 (new race target). so a total of £4.00 is required to be won on the next bet. And that is spread over the 5 tabs.

5 Tab approach is more aggressive that 10 Tab, as in a ten tab the losses are spread over 10 tabs, so in our example we are looking at only £1.00 loss allocation to each of the ten tabs.

On the flip side, 5 tab approach, only takes 5 winning lay bets, to clear the slate and bank the profits, where 10 tabs takes 10 winning bets.

But, don't be concerned if you dont get the 5 or 10 winning lays straight away the staking looks after that.

PLUS we have the Profit Delta, that can be used it helps boost the profits on losing bets.

Without getting right into the maths that the bot handles, that is a guide as to how the profit is made.

This is the same staking plan used in the very successful Magic Soccer Bot ( www.magic-soccerbot.com ).

In finishing off, ask the question.

Why do you bet the horses (or and sports)?

Most likely it is because you enjoy putting money on a horse and riding it home, or in laying seeing it get beaten. Yes it is a way of increasing the fun of a race or sports event.

This will still happen when using the bot, but an added benefit is that you are removed from having to look at the fields, study form etc.... that is all handled by the bot is some much it that it makes the selection.

And you dont have to worry about how much should you bet on this selection, you have already told the software what to do, and it does it.

Then there is the profit. Lets be honest, most people dont make a profit and don't expect to. It is the fun that they enjoy, profit in most cases is an accident, and it is quickly gone back into bets.

The software is set to make profits, and that it does.

So it gets a big tick on FUN and PROFIT.

Look what I recieved as I was doing this web site.

Hi Steve - Doug here  - I am enjoying the MS bot greatly and in fact i aim to Botify my whole betting activities via some of your other bots that have come to market recently - ( makes ones betting life so much easier and enjoyable after a lifetime of ghastly Form and System studying ) .

- Thanks - Doug

Love Doug's phase "Botify"

But it is true, bot's make betting and live enjoyable, as it should be.

Then I realised, a lot more of my betting is now Botified, and it happens without me lifting a finger, gotta love that.
